Wednesday 17th July – The McLintock Cup
Always a popular competition, the ‘McLintock’ 2024 edition, drew a good field of 38 players on a fine day for golf. With the course in peak condition for the big weekend, scoring was good with the top ten players scoring within three shots of par; no mean feat on fast tricky greens. The Auld trooper scored better than all however, returning a gross one over par to win on a net 59, by three shots from Brian Murray.
