Sunday 12th May – The Eric Wood Memorial Ladies Trophy

Fondly remembered by many, Eric Wood was always encouraging of lady golfers.  5 ladies played in lovely sunny conditions with the golf course in excellent condition. A delighted Tricia Tait was first with 38 points and runner up was  Doreen Mainds  with 35 points.

Sunday 12th May – The Eric Wood Memorial Trophy

14 played in this popular Stableford commemorating past WBGC stalwart, Eric Wood. Playing conditions were fine. The course is coming into its full summer glory now and overhead weather conditions were benign. Jamie Macpherson and Robert McNaught took full advantage with each of them returning cards with not a single 5 between them. Jamie pipped Robert to the trophy on a back nine countback.
