Sunday Competition Draws
Members should note the following alteration to the arrangements for Sunday morning competitions. The draw will now take place at 09.50 am to allow the first games to tee off at 10am.

Regrettably, due to staff members being stricken by COVID, we will again be unable to hold our quiz this week.
We are hopeful however of reinstating it next Friday 15th April.
31st March 2022 – Clubhouse Closure
*** CLUBHOUSE CLOSURE – QUIZ CANCELLED Friday 1st April ***
Unfortunately COVID has struck and one of the clubhouse staff has tested positive. Accordingly the clubhouse will remain closed until Sunday 3rd April which means that the Friday quiz on 1st April will be cancelled.
We apologise for this unwelcome development but feel that in the interest of the wellbeing of staff, members and visitors it is the only option realistically open to us.

Summer Draws for Sunday Competitions
Starting with our April fixtures we will revert to a draw for our Sunday medals, cups etc.
As previously the draw will be entirely optional and player are free to make up their own groupings outwith the draw but the following changes should be noted
There will be one draw only at 10am. The tee will be reserved for approximately four games but this can be changed if more tee times are needed.
Normally the competition will be closed off after the last game of the draw has started BUT if players wish to play later all they have to do is let someone at the club know, preferably the day before if possible, and their game will be accommodated.
Reverting to a draw should enable us to hold a presentation in the clubhouse soon after the last cards have been handed in. This was always a popular feature of our Sunday games but where late games are being played the result can be held over until later.

Due to a member of staff testing positive for COVID the clubhouse will be closed with immediate effect. A thorough deep clean will now take place and provided there are no further COVID related developments, the clubhouse is expected to open again on Wednesday 12th January.
