The Blairs Clean up at the WOBOT sweep
For the second annual WOBOT sweep, 9 travelled to Shiskine only to find a hard overnight frost had delayed the opening of the course. This posed no problem though and allowed us the luxury of a leisurely cup of coffee and some impulse buying in Dougie’s pro shop. Thereafter we enjoyed a beautiful morning’s golf, paradoxically in shirt sleeve weather, followed by a lunch in the Clubhouse Grill – superb!
Pipping husband David with a better last 6 hole score the winner was Lynda Blair with a score of 26 Stableford points.

Finally, a big thank you from all who travelled to Stan Rainey who, to celebrate his recent birthday, insisted on treating us all to our lunch, a very generous and much appreciated gesture. (And it’s great to know that Stan’s birthday will coincide with the next WOBOT trip in November 2020. It’s win, win!!)
